A lie that making money is hard, greedy and selfish; specially for women. And that we lack the capability & capacity to make more money.

Flashing back to my childhood, that’s what I grew up hearing. Of course, we desired having more money but up to certain limits (specially for women, because money makes you out of control)

This idea didn’t sit well with me because I also saw how women of our families felt helpless and unstable because of lack of money.

Hence, I knew the importance, power and necessity of women making money.
I grew up being an engineer, well yes – I was that ‘A’ grade nerd who was deep into
competition and excelling at her work.
But destiny had different choice for me.
Even after being offered a job in an engineering field, my heart didn’t quite found an inkling towards it.

This was my very first rebel.

And as an elder girl from middle class Indian family, it was such a disgrace to choose NOT
to pursue the typical career line. I was shamed by my relatives and society of leaving this opportunity.
But I had always known, I was meant for more & this path simply didn’t answer that ‘more’.
So, I decided to join an educational institute until I figured out what to do.
And that’s where my journey to coaching began (ummm… I didn’t know the word ‘coach’ at that time)
Now besides all this, I have deep love for writing so I’d always carry my journal every where around –
infact, I taught the school kids the importance of journaling & they
often reach out saying how it’s still helping them.

When I came across a blogpost that mentioned online coaching,
I was stunned.

It was also the time when I was facing severe anxiety due to toxic workplace culture.
I used my journaling tools to help myself stay calm in utter chaos.

After 4 years of serving and NOT being able to tolerate the toxicity any longer,
I decided to quit & gave in my resignation. (again a rebel lol)

Here I had NO plan B – I don’t run my life with plan B’s. I believe,
we have the ability to create the best plans in our uncertain times.

So, the thought of coaching came back to my mind. I thought I had the skill of journaling,
it had helped me with my anxiety for over past 4 years; let me teach people this skill & also coach them.

I got certified as a journal coach (there was NO one online calling themselves journal coach at that time)

And I grew my business to 15 lacs in first year,
serving over 100 clients.

Towards the end of 2022, I started having clients who desired to learn how
I made money through coaching and I started coaching them on it.

It was only in the March of 2023 that I realized that I was no longer a journal coach.
I was actually stepping into business coaching – the world where I could actually help women
make money (remember we began our story with this WHY)

However, I didn’t like calling myself a business coach yet because I wasn’t a typical strategy oriented coach,
I didn’t like calling people in through marketing tactics or be like a pushy salesperson.

I’m very heart and soul oriented. I love bringing purpose, aliveness and joy to business.
I love building business in the most aligned way – aligned to your values, purpose and mission.

I knew if I was going to be a business coach, I’d help women make money serving their divine purpose.
Hence, I started calling myself Business Alchemist & birthed my signature program – Aligned Business Alchemy.

When you ask me my deeper purpose and mission behind running my business –
it’s always about helping women make money. I want more and more women make money,
be financially independent and make their own life decisions. I want to live in the world where
women aren’t at the mercy of the ‘men in their lives’.

And I know how fulfilling life feels when you’re living your purpose, while making money.

I’m here to serve these women. My business is about them.
